For over 30 years, Cross Cultural Medicine on Hispaniola has been dedicated to serving the most vulnerable communities in the eastern Dominican Republic. Led by compassionate physicians, our organization operates mobile clinics that reach remote bateyes, underserved barrios, jails, and prisons—places where access to healthcare is limited or nonexistent. We believe that quality medical care is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and we work tirelessly to bridge the healthcare gap for those who have been left behind.

Our mission is powered entirely by donations and the generous efforts of volunteers who share our commitment to cross-cultural medicine and community health. We provide not only essential medical care but also medications and hygiene supplies to improve the health and dignity of the communities we serve. Through our integrated approach to healthcare delivery, we address immediate medical needs while building lasting relationships with the people and communities we support.
